Alhanislam is an internationally renowned Nigerian performance poet with over a decade of experience in storytelling, reaching over 6 million people through her art. Through her initiative, TrueMyVoice, she has mentored over half a million young Nigerian storytellers. A peacekeeping advocate and former campaign coordinator for Change.org in Nigeria, she blends artistry with advocacy, tackling social injustices and celebrating cultural heritage. As a leading figure in Nigerian spoken word, Alhanislam has performed at prestigious platforms like the Aké Arts and Book Festival, COP28, and the United Nations General Assembly. Beyond the stage, she founded Creative Cultural Revival, an initiative that integrates the Sustainable Development Goals by harnessing creativity to address societal challenges across Africa and the globe.
